Jeongyun LEE

Jeongyun LEE is a professor at the Graduate School of Education, the University of Tokyo. Herresearch focuses on the origins of “social education” as well as the establishment and development of “social education” in the modern era. Recently, she has been interested in lifelong education policy, educational welfare, and grassroots educational movements in Japan and Korea. After serving as vice president of the Japan Society for the Study of Adult and Community Education, she currently serves as executive director of the Japan Society for the Study of Adult and Community Education and as executive director of Japan Society of Asian Education.
