In response to the significant needs of lifelong education in Shanghai and in the country of China as a whole, Shanghai Municipal Institute for Lifelong Education (SMILE) leverages both full-time and part-time researchers and the rubust strength of educational research of East China Normal University (ECNU), and collaborating with relevant research forces at home and abroad. Shanghai Municipal Institute for Lifelong Education is dedicated to the healthy development of the lifelong education cause in Shanghai and China as a whole.
