Associate Professor at the Institute of Vocational and Adult Education, Faculty of Education, East China Normal University; Part-time Researcher at the Shanghai Municipal Institute for Lifelong Education; Part-time Researcher at the Institute of Educational Science, Jiangsu Open University. Visiting Scholar at the College of Human Sciences and Education, Louisiana State University, USA; Visiting Scholar at Roskilde University, Denmark. Main research areas include comparative adult education, adult career development, adult learning theories, and adult vocational education and training. Principal investigator of several research projects, including the National General Project of the National Education Science Planning Program and the Shanghai Municipal Government Decision-Making Consultation Project. Author of the monograph Analysis of Vocational Education Systems and translator of the book How We Learn: Learning and Non-learning in School and Beyond, with multiple papers published in domestic and international academic journals.
